This year at Bowl Bash was definatly one to be remembered. Not so much for the sleezy van blowing up, the constant spurts of downpours, the fact that alot of our camp left early, the warm beer, shitty fireworks, or even the skateboarding. This year is remembered for the number of people that came out and showed their support for Brewce Martin. Putting forth the helping hand to either help out or give money to the cause. They also premiered Brewce's documentary "SKATOPIA : 88 ACRES OF ANARCHY". So many people put the partying on hold, sat and watched the history of the place unfold.
This was the only year i've never seen Brewce walking around giving hell or making people work besides stand around. Even though he was'nt there, everyone acted like he was.
I only got to see Brewce's son Brandon (HELL SKULL) skate once up at the Lula Bowl. Everytime he dropped in everyone would stop skating and just watch. It was definately a sight to see.
Brewce is still in Huntington, WV at Cabell Huntington Hospital working his way to a full recovery. He's been out of ICU and eating all the while complaining of a headache. Brewce is one tough guy. And I can't wait to see him shred once again in the near future.
