I have recently acquired a box from a friend. Painted it and now it slides better than ever. Most sessions have been goin down in the street right in front of my apartment. Lose tricks...gain tricks...it's all a part of skateboarding.
Spent some time in Lexington, KY with some good friends and pretty hosts. Session'd up Woodland Skatepark as well as Georgetown Skatepark. It was pretty hot but all in all drinking helps ease the heat...sometimes. Thanks to everyone who made that weekend the shit. Shout out to Abby and her lovely ladies for giving us a place to crash and party! See you soon!
Where is Archie? Who knows...probably still in Beckley. If you are reading this Ginger get a hold of me and make some plans to come shred. Vice Versa.
Mick Posey has been busy away at WVU slayin ladies and kicken back some well awarded brews. He is finished with his UNYTED film for THE BERRICS and is well on his well to directing another film. Which he tells me won't have much skateboarding but hopefully alot of debacle.
Hesson is still boardless. I think...so if you know the fella tell him he should still skateboard for the sake of his dignity. Because I can see him being in his mid 30's soon sayin, "Hey kid let me try out that skateboard...you know I once could manual...".
Fall is definatly here now. I am awaiting for the leaves to cover the brick streets so much needed powersliding can go down.
It's pretty late, and I'm already fiending some coffee. I have some film I need to develop so I'll keep you posted on random stuff.
